Creeds Coffee Bar has taken over the space that used to be Dish Cooking Studio (it moved south to College St.) in the Annex. Creeds, a well-respected dry cleaning company, has been around for over 30 years and still has its drop-off/pick-up counter in the back (service is done off-site). The dry cleaner took back its lease and decided to run its own cafe here.This spacious area is a mix of marble, suede, leather and wood, with exposed brick walls and partially unfinished concrete floors. There are suede chairs, dark leather seats and custom-made wood-top furniture by Brothers Dressler, including a long communal harvest table towards the back.
Blooms and plants come from Emblem Flowers in the same building and a private digital art collection is on display via flat screens on the walls, with various mesmerizing moving images playing on each TV. No menu or prices are posted here, so it's best to ask the barista at the counter what's available. 
Coffee is made with beans from Pilot Coffee Roasters both for drip ($2.50) and espresso (Americano, $2.75; latte, $4), and espresso-based beverages are crafted using the same sleek Modbar espresso machine as the Toronto-based roaster. (Note: they don't do decaf brewed coffee here - only decaf espresso.) Loose leaf teas are from Pilot too.
There is also Pilot's delicious cold brew on tap ($4.50), which is the perfect thing to drink on a hot summer's day. Other thirst-quenching alternatives include bottles of cold-pressed juice from Greenhouse Juice Co.
Baked goods appear to be carefully curated, with cookies from Sullivan & Bleeker and sweet or savoury scones ($3.25) from Baker and Scone - including a daily gluten-free option. 
An enticing-looking cheddar and dill scone with an egg baked on top ($6.35) calls to me and doesn't disappoint.
Prepared foods consist of a changing assortment of salads, sandwiches and wraps along with Greek yogurt parfaits catered especially for Creeds.
With so much space here (plus free public WiFi and ample parking), this is an ideal spot to set up a makeshift office for a day - in fact, management encourages it. They're hoping to draw in those who want to hold meetings or events here, and are even open to pop-up shop collaborations as well (with The Rolling Pin, for example).Regardless, it's also just a convenient place for dropping off your dry cleaning and grabbing a coffee and a quick bite to eat while admiring the digital art on the walls.
